About Me

Born and raised in Langley, British Columbia, Kerry departed for Tokyo, Japan in 1987 to study. What was originally intended to be a short-term stay turned into a 15 year experience as she fell in love with the Japanese people and culture. Through assimilation she eventually learned to speak the Japanese language fluently. After traveling extensively throughout Asia she returned to British Columbia in 2002 to be with her family.

Kerry is a happily married mother of two and is tremendously family oriented. In her spare time, she can be found spending time with her family, gardening, scrapbooking, walking, running, or at dance class.  Kerry loves nature, especially mountains. In fact, one of her most memorable challenges was climbing Mount Fuji in 2001.

Kerry is a supporter for the fight against breast cancer along with her mother who is a breast cancer survivor.  She is also a proud sponsor of World Vision Canada.
